Cada año el Festival Medieval d’Elx envuelve a la ciudad en la mística y los sonidos de tiempos remotos. Artistas internacionales ofrecen a través de la música, el teatro y actividades paralelas, una oportunidad excepcional de reencontrarse con el pasado.
Alrededor de 600 alumnos disfrutarán de la literatura medieval valenciana con "Espill de Jaume Roig"
Gran expectación en el inicio de la programación del XVI Festival Medieval d’Elx. Pórtico al Renacimiento con la representación de la obra teatral “Espill de Jaume Roig” de la compañía de teatro valenciana CRIT. Se trata de una actividad dirigida a los estudiantes de los institutos de la ciudad en la que podrán disfrutar de una de las obras fundamentales de la literatura medieval valenciana. A partir de hoy miércoles 26 y hasta el viernes 28 de octubre alrededor de 600 alumnos completarán el aforo de La Llotja Sala Cultural en sus dos sesiones diarias, a las 10.00 y a las 12.00 horas, viviendo así un espectáculo fresco, divertido y atrevido que pone sobre la mesa los conflictos de género desde la Edad Media hasta nuestros días.
En total seis institutos ilicitanos entre los que se encuentran el IES La Foia, IES Sixto Marco, IES Carrús, IES Misteri d’Elx, IES La Torreta e IES Montserrat Roig tendrán la oportunidad de ver esta adaptación teatral de CRIT que moderniza el lenguaje original pero mantiene gran parte de las rimas y el léxico, así como la mordacidad y la vivacidad del texto. Además, al acabar el espectáculo se realizará un coloquio entre los actores y el público en el que se reflexionará sobre la violencia machista, argumento central de la función.
Con esta actividad, organizada por el Festival Medieval d’Elx, se intenta divulgar el teatro y la cultura en valenciano. Además esta misma función también la podrá disfrutar todo el que lo desee, el domingo día 30 a las 18.00 horas en el Gran Teatro, con una entrada de 2 euros.
