Cada año el Festival Medieval d’Elx envuelve a la ciudad en la mística y los sonidos de tiempos remotos. Artistas internacionales ofrecen a través de la música, el teatro y actividades paralelas, una oportunidad excepcional de reencontrarse con el pasado.
Un apotéosico espectáculo de clausura congrega a cientos de personas en el casco histórico
Cientos de personas se dieron cita anoche en la Plaza de Traspalacio para no perderse el espectáculo de clausura “Arde el Bosque”. Esta arriesgada propuesta, producción propia del certamen, no defraudó gracias principalmente a la bella explosión de color y música que supuso el montaje piromusical de Josep Peñarroja, en la pirotecnia, y Pep Llopis, en la música. Una conjunción perfecta que envolvió a los asistentes en un mundo de emociones, luz y sonoridad ideado y creado especialmente para clausurar este XVI Festival dedicado al “Bosque”. Éste fue sin duda el punto álgido de un espectáculo que comenzaba sobre las 22:30 horas, en el interior del Parque Municipal, con los increíbles “Seres del Bosque” de la conocida compañía madrileña Morboria Teatro deambulando entre palmeras milenarias. Las fantásticas criaturas conformaron un atractivo y bello pasacalles que atrajo al público hasta la Plaza de Traspalacio. Allí, les esperaban también los “Árboles de Fuego”, construidos a mano durante dos días gracias a la gran participación de la gente, para ser quemados en una gran ceremonia de fuego y mitología que envolvió a los cientos de asistentes en una noche mágica.
Previamente a este espectáculo de calle la Iglesia de San José volvió a vibrar con un concierto de lo más interesante. La compañía madrileña Commentor Vocis honró, con un excepcional recital, la memoria del compositor español Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548-1611) en el cuarto centenario de su muerte. Ofrecieron así una cuidada selección de piezas del final del Renacimiento y principios del Barroco que gustó por su interesante ritmo y armonía. Esta actuación ha sido posible gracias a Acción Cultural Española (ACE).
Los conciertos que pondrán esta noche el broche final
Hoy, a las 18:00 horas en la Basílica de Santa María se celebrará el concierto Aproximación al Misteri de 1709 con motivo del décimo aniversario de la declaración del Misteri d’Elx por la UNESCO, como Patrimonio Oral e Inmaterial de la Humanidad. De esta forma se vuelve a poner en escena el proyecto musical “Consueta de 1709”, estrenado en la edición 2009 de este Festival. En esta ocasión se contará además con las variaciones para órgano compuestas por el virtuoso Marcel Pérès.
Por la noche, un marco incomparable y único, el Claustro del Convento de la Merced, acogerá a las 20:00 y a las 21:30 horas la actuación de Luis Paniagua y Farran Sylvan con El Cielo en la Tierra. Un concierto que recupera la lyra, conjugando la música de Occidente y Oriente, sonidos del Mediterráneo antiguo, modernos y de otras culturas ancestrales.
Se culminarán así seis intensos días en los que el XVI Festival Medieval d´Elx ha inundado todos los rincones de la ciudad de la pasión por la música, la magia del teatro, la emoción de los espectáculos al aire libre, la risa de los más pequeños, la evocación de otros ritmos y culturas y el deleite de perderse en las calles o retroceder en el tiempo.
