The slogan of this edition is “Mediaeval theatre, Theatre alive”. The Mediaeval Market, which occupied the centre of the city from the 23rd to the 25th October, put once again mediaeval culture to the reach of to the citizen with passacaglia and street animation, theatre featuring characters from that time, jugglers… and the sale of typical products of that period. The Festival produced an own version of “Tirant lo Blanc” and companies coming from Estonius (Rondellus), France (Fin’Amor, Occitan music), Norway (Kongen Med Gullhjelment), Colombia (Viento Teatro), Italy (Teatro Cinetífico) and, of course, Spain, strengthened the outstanding international perspective of the Festival.
